RINK CODE OF CONDUCT

PARTICIPANT AND SPECTATOR RESPONSIBILITY

AND ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT

1. 2. Read and abide by all posted signs and warnings. Cooperate with arena staff.

No dogs or pets of any kind are permitted on the premises. Service animals with proper

documentation are allowed.

3. For your safety, maintain reasonable control of your speed, course and direction. No weaving

through other skaters. No more than two people may skate together. Do not skate in groups.

Do not stop where you obstruct other skaters. Skate in the same direction. Do not interfere

with other skaters’ safety and pleasure. No tag or games of any kind permitted on the rink.

4. Be cautious – Maintain a proper lookout to avoid other participants, objects, or conditions on the

rink surface. Report any hazards to facility staff.

5. Accept responsibility for knowing the range of your ability while on the rink surface; participate

within the limits of that ability and as appropriate to the sessions on which you are involved. No

fancy skating or backwards skating is permitted on public sessions, except when and where

designated.

6. When the rink is being resurfaced or serviced, leave the rink. Keep exits clear and do not sit on,

lean over, or leave articles on or near the boards. Before entering the rink, look for oncoming

skaters.

7. Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or a controlled

substance will not be allowed on the rink and may be asked to leave the rink area.

8. Patrons are not permitted to enter the rink surface in street shoes or other footwear not

specifically designed for skating, except during designated non-skating activities such as

curling, broomball, and Icebyk sessions.

9. Patrons are not permitted to bring food, chew gum, or drink onto the rink surface or the

surrounding boards. Management reserves the right to check baggage, if deemed appropriate.

10. Do not carry children, backpacks, purses, or other items while skating.

11. Do not act in a manner that may cause or contribute to injury to yourself or any other person.

12. Do not use electronic devices while skating. No eating, chewing gum, drinking, headphones or

phone use on the rink surface.

13. Do not throw or leave objects on the rink surface. Do not throw snow or ice.

14. Do not instigate or become involved in any type of altercation with any other skater or

spectator. Fighting or malicious destruction may result in immediate removal.

15. Assumption of Risk: By entering the premises, participants and spectators are deemed to

have knowledge of and assume the inherent risks of spectating, skating, and other ice or roller

activities, which include but are not limited to the following:

a. Injuries that result from collisions or contact with other spectators or participants.

b. Injuries that result from slips, trips, and falls.

c. Injuries that involve objects or artificial structures that are properly within the intended path

of travel of the participant or spectator.

16. Failure to comply with the above CODE OF CONDUCT may result in, but is not

limited to, ejection from the facility.

17. This facility is a smoke and vape free environment.

18. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMITTANCE OR SERVICE TO ANY PERSON
